Gramercy / Flatiron

Apartments in Gramercy Park and The Flatiron District have a long line of history. In the 1830’s Samuel B. Ruggles created the one-square-block park that The Gramercy Park area is named for. It’s pristine streets stretch from 20th Street to 34th Street, and the East River to Park Avenue.

The Flatiron building was New York City’s first ever Skyscraper, and at the time, was thought to be one of the tallest buildings in the world.
